Our studies focus on the investigation of the function of resistance arteries. We want to develop a greater understanding of how resistance arteries are controlled in health and disease, and how dysfunction of arterioles contribute to organ failure. Our goal is to discover new vascular targets for therapeutic intervention of coronary microvascular disease and microvascular brain injury.
